Some went to get breakfast, others to work. And the little ones to kindergarten and school.

But the shark family was still in a hurry. Mama shark was desperately trying to get the kids ready to go.

- Where is your schoolbag? Have you packed your lunch? And the books? Why are you picking on your brother? Let's go, we're late! - he shouted to the misbehaving gang.

- I don't need lunch, I'll have some valakit at school! - said the biggest one laughing, and the smallest shark boy started crying.

- Mama! I want to eat someone too!

- You're talking nonsense! You know you're not allowed to bite anyone in kindergarten or school! Now, let's go! Caesar? Where are you? - Mama Shark looked around when she noticed the middle child was missing.

- Here I am, Mama! "But I can't go to school today," sniffled the shark boy.

- Why not?

- Because today is the dental check-up! And I have something stuck in my teeth and I can't get it out because I can't find my toothbrush! What will the doctor say? - complained the Caesar.

- That's all we needed! - Mama Shark was annoyed, but then she had an idea to save the day.

- No, that's okay, run and get a toothpick.

- I can't bring it, Mama. I don't have any because I ate them all after lunch yesterday! - the boy confessed sadly.

- The toothpick? - her mother's eyes widened. She was getting really angry.

- Didn't I tell you not to do that? It'll give you a tummy ache and then we'll go to the doctor again! I'll be damned if I'm going to be red, you kid! Then get my dental floss.

- You can't do that either, Mama. Because I ate that after dinner! - cried the shark boy.

- All right, now, don't cry! You did a silly thing, you know! But now we have to go. We'll get a toothbrush on the way and you can brush your teeth at school. But you won't have time for breakfast, my boy. 'Let's put something to eat in your bag,' consoled Mama Shark, soothingly.

- No need, I had already eaten when I woke up! - Caesar sniffled.

- What did you eat?

- I can't remember, Mama! But look, it's still stuck in my teeth! - said the boy, opening his mouth wide.

Mama shark couldn't believe her eyes when she saw what was wedged in there.

Yes, it was the lost toothbrush! He grabbed the end and started pulling. It didn't come out. So the other two shark kids grabbed it and the three of them pulled the stuck toothbrush. They pulled and pulled and suddenly, whoosh! Out it came.

Yes, but with it came the tooth! A piece of it broke off, fell, clattered on the ground and rolled away.

There was crying, crying! The shark boy was very desperate. There goes his beautiful tooth! What will the dentist say?

But there was nothing to do, we had to get to school.

Caesar was sad all day. When the teacher called him, he just shook his head in silence and didn't speak. He was terribly bitter, ashamed of his toothy smile.

Finally it was time for the examination and he had to sit in the chair, and the doctor noticed the broken tooth immediately. He didn't say anything, just fixed it in no time.

Caesar's smile is as beautiful as before!

The dentist didn't scold me a bit, but smiled kindly at me as he said goodbye and said:

- Take good care of your teeth, Caesar! Watch what you bite on! And take care of them every day. You know how to brush them, don't you? Do you know how to brush your teeth?

- "I know it, Doctor, I tasted it, but I didn't like it very much," admitted Caesar, and then he told me what had happened to him that morning.

The dentist laughed a lot as he listened to the shark boy. Finally, he gave him another toothbrush as a present, and Caesar promised that he would never eat this again, and that he would never eat anything but delicious and healthy food.

And so he did, he kept his word, and from then on he walked around all day with a big grin on his face, flashing his shiny, flawless teeth at everyone.
