Once upon a time there was a little bunny called the Easter Bunny. He was responsible for giving out eggs and sweets to the children every year at Easter.
One day, when the Easter Bunny was painting eggs, the little bird, Chirpy, came to him.
- Hello Easter Bunny!" he greeted. - Why are you so sad?
- Hi Chicky! Every year it is so hard to give out all the eggs and sweets to the kids. I don't know how I'll find enough time to get to everyone this year, and they're so happy with the presents," said the Easter Bunny.
- But you are the Easter Bunny! You can do it every time! I have an idea how I can help you.
- I would be glad if you could help me! Tell me your idea! - The Easter Bunny was enthusiastic.
- I have met a very clever and fast butterfly who would be happy to help you distribute the eggs. He can fly very fast and could get to places you might not be able to reach.
- Great idea! Please bring the butterfly to me. - said the Easter Bunny excitedly.
Chirpy flew away and soon returned with a very beautiful and colourful butterfly.
- Hello Easter Bunny!" said the butterfly. - Chick told me you needed help.
- Thank you very much for coming. I would like you to help me with the distribution of eggs and sweets. You can get to places where it would be difficult for me to go.
- Sure, I'm happy to help you. What do you need? - the butterfly asked.
- I have a list of all the children I have to give eggs and sweets to. Can you help me get the presents to them?
- Of course! I'll be right there! - said the butterfly happily.
The Easter Bunny was very happy that Tweety had found a helper like the butterfly to help him distribute the gifts.
The children were also very happy when they saw the butterfly flying and handing out eggs. What's more, they received their presents earlier this year thanks to the helper.
And the Easter Bunny enjoyed the smiles of happy children so much more, because he didn't have to worry about not finishing on time.
When the feast was over, the Easter Bunny and the butterfly packed up the empty baskets and returned to the meadow where they lived. Together, they celebrated the success of the feast, and the Easter Bunny was grateful for the help of Chick and the butterfly.
Before the next Easter, Easter Bunny decided to invite the butterfly and Chick to help him figure out how he could quickly hand out presents on his own.
His friends came up with some great ideas. They managed to reorganise the distribution of eggs and sweets so that the Easter Bunny could finish much sooner.
From then on, the Easter Bunny was once again happy to deliver the children's presents. He could always count on his friends to help him organise the distribution of the gifts year after year. Will the Easter Bunny have helpers again this year?
