Once there was a lark and a fox. The lark had no land, but the fox did. There the lark made his nest and lived with his young. One day the fox came to the lark and said:

- Do you hear me, lark, give me some lark's milk, or I'll plough up the ground.

The poor lark was frightened, what would happen to him if the fox ploughed up the land? Where will he put his nest?

Then her heart broke, but she gave one of her sons to him. The next day the fox came again and said:

- Give me a little lark, or I'll plough up the ground.

The poor lark mourned, and then his heart broke, but what could he do, he gave away his other son. Then he climbed up on a stool and began to weep bitterly.

A little dog went up to him and asked:

- Why are you crying so bitterly, little lark?

- Of course I cried, little doggy, when the fox ate my two sons.

- Well, you see, you were foolish enough to give it to him. If he comes again and threatens to plough up the land, tell him, "Well, plough it if you have a plough".

The next day the fox comes and says to the lark:

- Quick, give me some lark, because I'm about to plough up the ground.

- I don't give a damn! Plough it if you have a plough.

- "Just you wait, I'll plough it up," said the fox.

He started to the ground, scraping it with his four legs, and shouted:

- Come on, you, come on! Giddy up, you, giddy up!

The little dog heard this and ran to the ground to catch the fox, but the fox saw the little dog - he ran through the bushes and ditches as if his eyes had been taken out, and didn't stop until he came to a lick. Suddenly he ran into it and was so frightened of the little dog.

Inside the lick, the fox started to gush:

- Oh, the world of my two beautiful eyes! How well you took care to see the liquor!

Then he told his two front legs:

- Oh, my sweet two front legs, you were so good at kicking and holding on, and the little dog didn't even catch you!

But he was not happy with his tail.

- Come on, you worthless wimpy dick! You were always pulling me backwards, you almost made the little dog catch up with me. But there's no place for you in this dump, I'll have you out!

He started to push his tail outwards.

But it was just as well, because the little dog was lurking next to the lick, hamm! got his tail, pulled it out of the lick, and tore the fox so much that I know, my God, he never ate another lark.

It was, it was over, tale was.
