Dad? Asked the little hedgehog
looking at the brush.
No, dear, said his mother
you go to hell.

How could your father be
this dirty little thing?
Such a species is not entitled to
no friendship.

But he is dear to me too,
because I'm just like me,
spikes on the back
are just as big.

Not caring about his mom
with a disapproving look,
Tonchi the hedgehog all of a sudden
kneels in front of the brush.

Say you're my daddy
I ask you very nicely,
because there is no one like you
here, in the countryside.

A touched hedgehog mother
at what you have just seen,
he creates the idyll,
so it has changed its focus.

Yes, my son, little Tonchika
he growled under his breath,
I am your daddy
there is no doubt about it.

With tears in my eyes, with great joy
Tonchika looks at her brush,
so he became a lonely brush
his only son.
