Once upon a time, there was an egg, once upon a time, even across the ocean. This egg was born. It rolled and rolled, and once it found a duck. The duck asked it:

Again they go, they go, they find a crab.

- Where are you going, needle man?

- We go into the world.

- I'm coming too, let's go together.

They go on again, they go on, they find a horse and finally an ox.

They walked on, they walked on, and then it got dark. There was a little house, and they went in. Everybody went to his place. The egg lay in the ashes of the fire. The rooster and the rooster sat on top of the fireplace. The crab crawled into a bowl of water. The needle stuck in the towel. The horse lay down in the middle of the house and the ox in the pie-hole.

One day the twelve wolves who owned the little house come home. The oldest one started shouting from far away:

- Wow, wow, I smell a foreign smell! Who dares enter?

There was one vomit-head among them, who said that he would go in, even if there were a thousand devils in there, I was not afraid of anything.

In it goes. That they owned the house, quite knew the thunder of what stood where. First of all he looked for the kindling on the hearth to light a candle, but the rooster and the rooster started to crow, then he reached into the ashes to look for coals, but the egg popped away and he ran to the basin to wash, and the crab bit him with his scissors, then he ran to the towel, and the needle stuck him there, and he jumped to the middle of the house, and the horse kicked him in the side, and as he ran out, the ox ran at him, and he picked him up by the horns and pushed him into the middle of the yard.

Then he started howling like a worm in a tree, running to the other wolves.

- Oh, run, run, run! Rip! Let's go! All the devils are in there.

I reach for the ashes,
I get shot with a rifle.
I run to the basin,
They cut me with scissors.
I grab a scarf,
Banya pricks you with her needle.
I run to the door,
They push you with a shovel.
I run to the atrium,
They buy pitchforks!
A shout: Hep-hep-hep!
Another shouts: give it up!
Then I had a big fall,
But woe was me.

They started running then, they still run now if they haven't stopped.
