Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a curious little boy called Pete. Every night Peti dreamed of travelling on a magical train that would take him to the most wonderful places in the world. Every day, as he played by the railway line at the edge of the village, he imagined the trains taking him to magical lands far away.
One night, as Peti was about to go to bed, a strange thing happened. As he closed his eyes, he heard a low hum from outside. He looked out of the window, and to his surprise, a shiny, colourful train stopped in the yard! From the top of the train, golden lights were streaming skywards, and the door slowly opened.
Peti couldn't believe his eyes, but his curiosity got the better of him and he quickly got dressed and ran out into the yard.
- Hello, Peti! - greeted a friendly voice from the train. A smiling train driver waved to him. - This is the Magic Train, and it only appears to those who dream big. Would you like to come on an adventure?
Peti nodded excitedly and jumped on the train. As he stepped inside, the train was filled with colourful lights, soft cushions and happy children ready to go. Stars twinkled outside the train's windows, as if the train were speeding through the sky.
- Where are we going? - asked Peti excitedly.
- Wherever you want! - said the driver. - Just say your dream and the train will take you there!
Peti thought about it, then said:
- I want to see the most colourful meadow full of flowers, where fairies and butterflies live!
The train started immediately, and magical music played as the wheels clicked. Through the window, Peti could see the train flying over the mountains, across the rivers and soon they arrived in a beautiful meadow. The meadow was full of colourful flowers and butterflies danced in the air. Peti watched happily as fairies glided among the flowers, calling him ever closer.
But the adventure doesn't end there.
- And now? - asked the driver, when Peti got back on the train. - Which of your dreams do you still want to make come true?
Peti smiled.
- I want to climb the highest mountain in the world, where snowflakes dance and kites fly in the clouds!
The train started again, and soon they found themselves at the foot of a huge, snow-covered mountain. The mountain peak glistened in the moonlight, and snowflakes danced on the train. Peti laughed with delight when he saw friendly dragons flying in the clouds, waving at him.
The train finally returned to the village and Peti got off happily.
- Thank you for the magical journey! - she said to the driver with a smile.
- "You can always come back, Peti, if you want to dream again," replied the driver.
That night, Peti returned to bed happy, knowing that the magic train was always waiting for him if he wanted to see something wonderful.
