Once upon a time, in a small ground-floor cottage in the alleyways of a small town in Girbegurba, there lived a little boy called Sanci. When he was a little boy, Sanci had a bunion. Because he couldn't run around with the other little children, he didn't really know them, just two little boys, but I'll tell you about them later.

Even though he went to nursery school for a while, as it was harder for him to run, climb and do all the things that required the use of his legs, Sanci preferred to stay at home. By the time she was in school, she no longer regretted not being able to go around with the others. Sanci became a serious boy, loved reading, football and his two best friends Pisti and Miki.

They always met at Sanci's house after they had done their homework. Today is no different. Pisti rang the bell first. Sanci peeked out the front door and whispered:

- I'm almost finished studying for the environmental diploma. I only have one more worksheet to complete. So Pisti waited patiently until then.

When Pisti and Sanci went to the school playground, Miki joined them.

- "Wow! I barely got out of the house! My little sister Petra's cat was sneaking out of the garage and we had to find her before she escaped.

The boys discussed the afternoon's events on their way to the football pitch.

The primary school has a wonderful pitch. The boys take turns kicking, defending and passing. Sometimes other boys join in their practices, but today there are just the three of them.

Recently, Sanci, having shed his initial sluggishness thanks to a lot of practice, started to play very well, and his friends noticed this and encouraged him to join the school football team instead of just kicking the ball around. Sanci, however, didn't feel brave enough to do so, so he always put his friends' ideas to rest with a wave of his hand.

However, the two friends did not let up, so it happened that the school's coach, Uncle Géza, was watching Sanci's game that day, albeit from a distance.

The next day, in PE class, the coach announced the names of the players for the autumn championship teams. To Sanci's surprise, they were included.

Sanci even went to Uncle Géza to ask him about it, did he say the wrong name? Does he really want to play football for the team?

- Yes, Sanci. No, I didn't spoil the roster. Yesterday I was listening to your friends' request, watching your technique, how you play. Of course, you have a lot to learn, but I see you are persistent not only in the classroom but also on the court. Your uncle, the trainer, also told me a lot about you. I know where you started and where you've got to. So I'm going to give you the opportunity to have a trial match. Prove it.

Sanci was very happy to hear these words, but then immediately became worried.

- What if two of us make it but one of us doesn't?

- Don't even think about it! We will all make it! - said Miki.

The boys had a wonderful weekend together. They practiced, dreamed of playing together in a big team, but Monday morning came too soon. The exhibition match was coming up.

The three friends were excited to attend the afternoon practice match, where the opposing players looked like huge monsters compared to them. Before the match started, the boys put their heads together and tried to encourage each other.

- You are the most skilful player, Sanci. That was always your goal. We know you have a stronger will than me or Miki. We can do it! - Pisti encouraged his friends.

And so it was. After the initial stumbles, the boys quickly got into the game and scored goals. The best was Sanci, who beat three opponents to put the ball in the net. Sanci, Pisti and Miki also made the team and wore their jerseys with great pride throughout the year. The moral of the story is that if you practice hard, you can achieve your dreams.
